Founder of Glow Simplified. Certified group fitness instructor. Writes every word here.

I'm Maya, the real person behind Glow Simplified. I write every word of the Journal you're reading, and I built the two tools this whole site is about. No ghostwriters, no borrowed opinions, just me.

I started this after watching too many people do everything "right" and still feel lost in front of their own bathroom shelf. It was never them. It is the noise. The industry is very good at selling products and not remotely interested in helping anyone understand them.

So I write from one belief: less, but right. Your skin needs the right few steps, done consistently, chosen for your skin instead of someone else's. Cleanse, protect, support the barrier, give it time. Everything here follows the same rules: no fake urgency, no miracle promises, no claims I cannot stand behind.

In my day job I teach group fitness classes (certified at World Class, here in Bucharest), and that work taught me the belief this whole site stands on: the only routine that works is the one you actually keep. Nobody quits the gym because squats stopped working; they quit because the plan was too big. I spent four years untangling skincare for my own skin before I started writing it down here.

I am not a dermatologist, and I do not pretend to be. What I offer is the honest, plain-words version of what the basics actually are, and the patience to help you follow them on a tired Tuesday night.
